RFID Wristband Registration & Access

One tap of the wrist — registration, access, stamp rally and lucky draw all counted

Replace the badge with an RFID event wristband. Guests tap in at the entrance to register, tap at zone gates for access control and tap at each checkpoint to collect stamps — no phones, no QR scanning queues. Organisers see live arrivals and checkpoint progress, and the lucky draw pulls only from guests who actually showed up. Pixanity supplies the wristbands and the registration system together, so you are not buying bands from one supplier and a system from another.

  • Tap to check in — A 0.3-second tap — no phone, no aiming at a camera. Kids and seniors do it themselves
  • Stamp rally with full data — One reader per checkpoint or booth; who went where and how many stages completed, live
  • Integrated with Pixanity — Live check-in stats, checkpoint stats and lucky draws drawn only from guests present

Overview: who it's for & what it solves

RFID wristband registration and access is a wearable registration, access-control and stamp rally system for events in Singapore: guests wear a disposable, Tyvek paper or silicone RFID (NFC) event wristband linked to their registration, tap in at the entrance to register, tap at zone gates for access, then tap at each checkpoint or booth to collect stamps. Integrated with the Pixanity system, the backend shows live arrivals, zone entries and checkpoint progress, and the lucky draw pulls only from registered, present guests. Unlike a wristband supplier that ships bands only, Pixanity rents the wristbands, readers, system and on-site staff as one package. No phone needed — works for kids and seniors. Ideal for family days, carnivals, Dinner and Dance (DND) nights, exhibitions and festivals. Islandwide, custom quote.

WHAT IS IT

What is RFID wristband registration & access?

RFID wristband check-in turns the entry pass into a wristband. Each band carries an embedded chip that is linked to the guest at registration; at the entrance the guest simply taps the band on a reader to check in, and the system verifies the list, logs the arrival time and updates attendance in real time.

The same band keeps working throughout the event: a reader at each checkpoint or booth lets guests tap to collect stamps, the backend shows completion per stage and overall progress, and the closing lucky draw pulls only from the checked-in list — nobody absent gets drawn. The band doubles as walking event identity; disposable and paper bands are destroyed on removal and cannot be transferred, while silicone bands can be kept as a memento.

Registration and access are two jobs of the same band. Registration: the guest list is imported in advance (or walk-ins register on the spot), each band is linked to a named guest at handout, and the first tap at the entrance records attendance with a timestamp — this is the registration record you export afterwards. Access: readers at zone gates check whether that band is allowed in — VIP lounge, staff area, ticketed zone, re-entry — and colour-coded bands give staff a visual check at a glance. Because the band is destroyed on removal, access cannot be passed to someone else.

The product goes by many names in Singapore — event wristbands, entry wristbands, RFID wristbands, NFC wristbands, smart bands — all meaning the same thing: a wearable pass with an embedded chip. Most wristband suppliers sell the bands only; Pixanity rents the wristbands and the event registration system together: custom-printed bands, readers, the registration / access / stamp rally / lucky draw backend and on-site staff, so you do not have to source bands from one supplier and a system from another.

WRISTBAND TYPES

Three wristband types — pick by event format

All three carry an RFID chip and run on the same system; they differ in cost, fastening, durability and what happens after the event.

Disposable snap-closure RFID wristbands in assorted plain colours, destroyed once removed
DISPOSABLE

Disposable wristband

Tamper-evident snap-closure bands fastened on the spot and destroyed on removal — non-transferable. Waterproof, tear-resistant and available in many colours, ideal for single-day events with large crowds; colours can also mark ticket tiers or zones.

  • Waterproof and tear-resistant, ready on fastening
  • Destroyed on removal — no transfers or re-entry
  • Many colours to mark ticket tiers / zones
  • Low unit cost, economical even for 1,000+ guests

Best for: carnivals, family days, exhibitions, single-day forums

Tyvek paper RFID wristbands with adhesive closure, full-colour printable
PAPER

RFID paper wristband

Lightweight Tyvek paper bands with an embedded RFID chip and antenna. Adhesive closure — stick on to wear, tear off to destroy. Full-colour printable with your key visual and zone colours, the most economical of the three and the best fit for mass handout.

  • Tears on removal — one guest, one band
  • Full-colour print for key visual, tiers and zones
  • Lowest unit cost, first choice for 10,000-guest events

Best for: concerts, exhibitions, large carnivals, ticketed entry

Silicone RFID wristband, soft and durable with the chip embedded in the strap
SILICONE

  • Custom colours to match your brand
  • Keepsake for guests after the event

Best for: festivals, multi-day exhibitions, member events, brand parties

SYSTEM VS SUPPLIER

Pixanity RFID wristband system vs event wristband supplier vs generic access-control rental

Searching for event wristbands in Singapore turns up mostly band printers and suppliers. Here is what you get from bands alone versus the wristband-plus-registration package, and versus a plain access-control rental.

THE MOMENT

When the slot machine spins, every name drawn is in the room

The worst thing about a lucky draw is calling a name that never showed up — redraw once, twice, and the energy is gone. Wristband check-in makes "present" a hard data point: the draw pulls only from guests who actually tapped in. The slot machine spins on the big screen, some hands go up, others hold their breath — and the moment the host reads a name is the most photogenic of the night.

HOW IT WORKS

From handing out bands to the lucky draw — four steps

One reader at the entrance and at each checkpoint, all connected to the Pixanity system with a live organiser backend.

01

Import list, link bands

Import the guest list (Google Sheet supported) and link each band to a guest at handout; walk-ins register on the spot.

02

Tap in at the entrance

Guests tap the band on the entrance reader to check in; the system verifies the list and logs arrival — no phone needed.

03

Tap at each checkpoint

A reader at each checkpoint or booth; tap to collect a stamp. Completing a set number of stages can auto-unlock redemption.

04

Live stats & lucky draw

The backend shows arrivals and completion rates live; the draw pulls from checked-in guests and plays out on the big screen.

WHY IT WORKS

Why family days and carnivals are switching to wristband check-in

No phone, 0.3-second entry

No app, no aiming at a camera — just tap. Seniors and children check in and collect stamps by themselves.

Non-transferable, no duplicates

Disposable bands are destroyed on removal — one guest, one band. The system blocks duplicate check-ins and stamps for clean, trustworthy data.

Visible checkpoint flow

Completion per stage and overall progress update live, so organisers can redeploy staff and ease crowding on the spot.

One system end to end

Check-in, stamp rally and lucky draw share one list, and connect to photo booths and on-site games without breaking the data chain.

IN ACTION

One wristband, four moments on the event floor

Concept visuals rendered from the actual wristband styles, showing how RFID bands are used at each stage of the event.

A guest taps her disposable paper wristband on the reader beside a tablet at the check-in counter while a staff member smiles

Entry: tap, and you are in

No aiming a QR code or searching a list. The guest taps her band on the reader, the tablet lights green and check-in completes with the arrival time logged. Fast flow, no bottleneck — one counter handles a large crowd.

At a carnival booth, a father lifts his daughter so she can tap her silicone wristband on the checkpoint reader

Stamp rally: kids do it themselves

One reader per booth — walk up, tap, stage complete. No paper stamp cards, no wrong stamps, and children can do it on their own without a parent scanning a phone.

An organiser checks live charts on a tablet at the edge of an exhibition hall, with wristband-wearing guests entering behind

Backend: arrivals and progress, live

Arrivals, completion per checkpoint and overall progress update in real time. See which stage has a queue and which zone is quiet, then move staff or adjust the flow immediately rather than reading a report afterwards.

A slot-machine lucky draw spinning on the ballroom screen while some guests raise a hand and others chat, each wearing one wristband

The draw: only guests who are present

The draw list comes straight from checked-in bands, so nobody absent is drawn and no redraws are needed. The slot machine spins on the big screen — some hands go up, some guests bet with their neighbours — and when the host reads a name the whole room looks for the winner. The perfect closing shot.

Concept visuals; actual band colours, readers and venue setup follow the project plan.

FAQ

RFID wristband registration & access FAQ

The questions organisers most often ask when renting an RFID event wristband system in Singapore, covering band types, registration, access control, stamp rally, lucky draw, equipment and pricing.

QR check-in has guests show or scan a code on their phone; RFID puts the chip on the wrist, so one tap does it — no phone, no aiming at a camera, and children and seniors can do it themselves. The same band carries on to the stamp rally and lucky draw. The two can be combined depending on the event.

For single-day events with large crowds and a need to prevent transfers, choose snap-closure disposable bands or Tyvek paper bands: both are destroyed on removal, and paper bands have the lowest unit cost with full-colour printing, ideal for mass handout. For multi-day, outdoor or keepsake use, choose silicone: durable, waterproof and custom-coloured. We advise based on event length and budget.

Import your list in advance (Google Sheet supported) and link each band by scanning at handout; walk-in guests register on the spot and receive a band, so nobody is stuck at the door.

Any number — one reader per checkpoint. Completing a set number of stages can auto-unlock redemption, and the redemption desk taps the band to redeem once, preventing double claims.

The draw list comes directly from checked-in bands, so only guests present can be drawn and no redraws are needed; previous winners can be excluded, with a big-screen reveal.

One reader and tablet at the entrance and each checkpoint, with stable internet. Reader count is planned by headcount and flow; Pixanity can supply the equipment and station staff.

Yes. Paper bands take full-colour printing of your key visual, and disposable and silicone bands can be produced in custom colours and print; please allow production lead time, with specs and schedule confirmed per project.

NFC is a short-range (13.56 MHz) flavour of RFID, and most event wristbands use it — so "NFC wristband", "RFID wristband", "smart band" and "tap wristband" usually mean the same product. Pixanity picks the chip to suit crowd size and read range; for organisers the action is identical: tap and go.

Pixanity rents the wristbands and the event check-in system together — the value is in the check-in, stamp rally and lucky draw data behind each tap. If you only need custom-printed entry bands with no system, we can advise, but buying directly from a wristband printer is usually more economical.

Either works. RFID wristbands suit large, mixed-age, outdoor or fast-entry events; phone-based markets and carnivals can run a QR-code stamp rally through the Pixanity carnival system. Both can run at the same event.

From a few hundred guests at a family day to tens of thousands at a concert or carnival. The more guests and checkpoints, the bigger the no-phone speed advantage; reader count is planned by headcount and flow.

Yes. Each band carries an access level set at registration; a reader at the zone gate allows or denies the tap and logs the entry, and colour-coded bands let staff check visually as well. Re-entry, staff areas and ticketed zones can each have their own rule.

A wristband supplier ships printed bands, sometimes with a blank chip, and nothing else — no guest list, no readers, no data. Pixanity rents the wristbands together with the registration and access system, readers and on-site staff, so every tap becomes a record: who registered, who entered which zone, who finished the stamp rally and who can be drawn.

Service areas

Pixanity provides RFID wristband registration, access control and stamp rally services islandwide across Singapore, from the CBD and Marina Bay to Sentosa, Jurong and the heartlands.
