PHOTO MOSAIC WALL

Photo Mosaic Wall · Montage Wall

Photo mosaic wall: every guest is one tile of your brand key visual.

A photo mosaic wall (mosaic photo wall) turns hundreds of guest photos into one big picture. Pixanity's version — the wall we used to call a montage wall — adds three things: guests upload by QR code, the system removes the background and centres each face, and the key visual builds live on the big screen or on a printed wall guests paste themselves. The instant the final tile lands and your logo or anniversary number is complete is the most ceremonial reveal of the night.

  • Everyone is a tile, created together — Hundreds of guest photos form one shared brand key visual — everyone takes part
  • Builds live on the big screen — Each upload tiles straight into the picture; the key visual grows in front of the whole room
  • Two outputs: brand wall + personal stickers — The big wall is your brand moment on site; personal mosaic stickers go home with every guest

Overview: who it's for & what it solves

A photo mosaic wall (mosaic photo wall, live mosaic wall) is a real-time image-tiling system: guests scan a QR code to upload a photo, AI removes the background and centres each face, and hundreds of photos tile into your company logo, anniversary number or event key visual — live on the big screen, or printed and pasted by guests onto a physical wall. Optional take-home mosaic stickers. Ideal for company anniversaries, Dinner and Dance (DND), product launches and roadshows, islandwide across Singapore, custom quote.

WHAT IS IT

What is a photo mosaic wall?

Photo mosaic wall, mosaic photo wall, live mosaic wall, photo mosaic booth — in the Singapore events market these all describe the same idea: many small photos arranged by tone and colour so that, from a distance, they form one large image (a company logo, anniversary number, brand key visual or city scene). Pixanity's photo mosaic wall (formerly called the montage wall) makes it happen live: guests scan a QR code and upload, the system removes the background and centres each face, and every photo drops in as a mosaic tile — building on the big screen tile by tile, or printed for guests to paste onto the physical wall themselves.

Unlike a static backdrop or a mosaic poster produced after the event, the live version puts every guest inside the brand key visual — part participation, part brand moment; the finished wall is the best group-photo backdrop, and each guest can print a personal mosaic sticker of their own to take home.

THE MOMENT

The moment the last photo lands and the key visual is complete

One photo, ten, hundreds… as the whole room's smiles tile into the picture, the instant the final square fills in and your company logo or anniversary number appears in full, everyone witnesses "this is something we built together" — a shared sense of achievement no printed backdrop can match.

HOW IT WORKS

Scan, upload, and your photo tiles into the key visual live

Upload via QR code — no app download; the system processes each image automatically and the key visual builds live on the big screen.

01

Scan & upload

Guests scan a QR code to upload their photo — no app download.

02

AI cut-out & centring

The system auto-removes the background and centres each face, turning every photo into a clean mosaic tile.

03

Tiles into the key visual live

Each photo tiles into the pre-set logo / anniversary number / key visual, building on the big screen in real time.

04

Reveal & keepsake

The key visual completes for a full-room reveal photo; guests can also print a mosaic sticker to take home.

WHY IT WORKS

Why the photo mosaic wall is the ultimate "created-together" moment

Everyone is a tile

Hundreds of guest photos form one shared brand key visual — everyone is a star, everyone takes part.

Builds live

Each upload tiles straight into the picture; the key visual grows in front of the whole room — the process itself is the show.

AI cut-out & face centring

The system processes every image automatically so each face is clear, centred and the mosaic looks tidy.

Two outputs: wall + stickers

The big wall is your branded photo moment; personal mosaic stickers go home with guests and keep the conversation going.

ON SITE

A wall that grows as the event runs

Photographs from events we ran, from how the zone is laid out to the moment a guest walks over and adds their photo.

A crew member explaining the photo mosaic wall service beside a wall tiled from many small photographs

Guests find their own spot and stick it on themselves

The instruction on the wall is plain: take your photo, find your place, put it up. The image is completed by everyone in the room — and that hands-on step is the real difference from a printed graphic, because guests have to walk over and hunt for their own tile, which pulls them into the zone.

A guest reaching out to a wall of small photographs that together form the brand wordmark

A logo from across the room, a face up close

Step back and the wall is the event key visual or the brand mark; step in and every tile is somebody who came. That change of scale is the memorable part — and why it almost always gets photographed twice: once wide for the whole wall, once close for their own tile.

The photo mosaic zone with its retro sign, postbox-style drop unit and a screen playing the finished mosaic

It needs less floor than people expect

The zone is one wall, one screen and a drop unit. Wall size flexes to the venue, and the screen plays back completed mosaics so people who have not joined yet can see the point. In practice it belongs against a wall rather than taking up central circulation.

What gets assembled is your logo

The wordmark on that wall is not printed — it is tiled from photos guests uploaded, one cell at a time. So how complete the wall looks equals how many people took part, which produces a very useful instinct: people who have not added one want to fill the gap.

The photo mosaic stand dressed as a retro post office with red and green postboxes and a screen showing the mosaic

The stand can carry the theme too

Here the mosaic zone was built as a vintage post office — postboxes, envelope motifs, the idea of sending something — which is the same language as posting your photo to the wall. The dressing follows the event; the mechanism stays the same.

HOW TO CHOOSE

Photo mosaic wall vs. mosaic poster vs. animated mosaic — which to pick?

Vendors in Singapore use "photo mosaic wall" for very different setups. The first thing to check: is it built live at the event, or produced afterwards?

OptionPhoto source & methodOutputBest for
Pixanity photo mosaic wallGuests upload by QR on the day; AI cut-out and face centring; tiles live onto a printed wall guests paste themselves, or onto the big screenBrand key-visual wall + animation video (optional) + personal stickers (optional)Anniversaries, Dinner and Dance (DND), launches — when you want a reveal moment everyone took part in
Printed mosaic posterPhotos collected in advance and printed as one large mosaic before the eventOne static large printA photo backdrop only, no live interaction needed
Animated photo mosaic (LED screen)Photos fly into the screen and auto-position into the image; fully digital, no printingBig-screen animation (exportable video)Stage openings, livestreams, venues with no wall space
Static backdrop printDesigner-made key visual printed as a backdropBackdrop onlyWhen you just need a group-photo background

In short: for "the whole room builds it and there is a reveal", pick the Pixanity photo mosaic wall; for a good-looking group-photo background, a static print or mosaic poster is enough; with no wall space or for a stage opening, choose the animated photo mosaic on the LED screen.

FAQ

Photo mosaic wall — FAQ

The questions companies ask most when renting a live photo mosaic wall — covering the two formats, grid sizes, base-image customisation, who pastes the tiles and on-site requirements.

The physical version prints each photo taken on the day and pastes them into one large picture; the web animation version has photos fly in one by one, auto-position and form the complete image, exportable as a video. The two are priced separately — book either one on its own, or pair them together.

Guests just scan a QR code with their phone and upload a photo — no app needed; the physical version can also be designed as an interactive segment where guests paste their own photos onto the wall.

Yes. It can form your brand logo, an anniversary number, your event key visual or any designated image — the whole picture is fully customisable.

Yes — for example 6×6 for 36 photos or 10×10 for 100 photos, and the grid can be customised to your event.

Yes. The finished size is planned around the number of photos, the size of each photo and the layout.

The base image can be provided by the client, and Pixanity builds the mosaic layout to match your grid size and final dimensions.

Yes. Photos are shot live at the event and keep joining the mosaic throughout.

Only when there are not enough photos will some photos repeat — so the picture always looks complete.

Pixanity crew can handle it, or it can be designed as an interactive segment where guests paste their own photos.

Yes. How the photos appear, their speed and the animation rhythm are all customisable, and Pixanity advises on settings based on photo count and playback time.

The physical version needs a photo backdrop, mosaic wall space and working room; the backdrop can be arranged by you or by Pixanity. On-site Pixanity crew is arranged according to your package.

Same idea, different names: many small photos tiled into one big picture. The difference is the method. Most "photo mosaic walls" sold in Singapore collect photos in advance and print one poster; the Pixanity photo mosaic wall is built at the event — guests scan and upload, AI removes the background and centres each face, tiles drop in live, a reveal can be staged, and personal mosaic stickers can be printed on the spot.

The photo mosaic wall is primarily a physical wall (optionally paired with the web animation) — guests can paste their own photo and the finished piece stays after the event. The animated photo mosaic is a purely digital, LED-screen version where photos fly in and auto-assemble, suited to stage openings or venues with no wall space. They are priced separately and can be booked together.

It is custom-quoted. The main drivers are event date and venue, headcount, grid size (for example 6×6 or 10×10), physical or animated format, whether personal sticker printing is included, and on-site staffing. Share your date, headcount and key-visual idea for a fast estimate.

Company anniversaries (tiling into the anniversary number), Dinner and Dance (DND) and product launches (tiling into the logo or key visual), grand openings, roadshows and exhibition booths (tiling into the event key visual). Any event of roughly 100 guests or more that wants a shared, ceremonial moment is a good fit.
