Overview: who it's for & what it solves

The Scribble Booth (also searched as a signature photo booth or photo signing booth) is a compact photo-signing unit (about 24cm W × 15cm D × 33cm H on an adjustable stand): guests take a photo, hand-sign directly on the screen in their choice of colour, and the whole shoot-sign-print flow takes about 30 seconds. The signed photo prints instantly, and scanning the QR code on the print unlocks an AR photo with a downloadable digital copy. Works via QR code or web — no app download. Ideal for weddings, Dinner and Dance (DND) and brand events, islandwide across Singapore, custom quote.

WHAT IS IT

What is the Scribble Booth (signature photo booth)?

The Scribble Booth — Pixanity's name for what is also called a signature photo booth, photo signing booth or autograph photo booth — is our on-site signed-photo service: the unit measures about 24cm W × 15cm D × 33cm H, sits on an adjustable stand, and handles the full "shoot → sign → print" experience in one small footprint. Guests step in front of the camera for the photo (no limit on how many people per shot — whatever the lens can frame), then hand-sign directly on the screen in the signature colour they like, and the signature merges into the photo as a one-of-a-kind keepsake.

The finished photo prints on the spot and comes with a digital copy; scanning the QR code on the print opens an AR version where the picture comes to life, ready to view and download. The whole flow runs via QR code or the web version with no app download, and photo size, layout, event logo and key visual are fully customisable.

THE MOMENT

One signature turns a photo into the only one of its kind

Everyone has taken an event photo — but a photo signed in your own hand exists only once. Guests leave their smile in front of the camera, then sign their name across it: part personal touch, part ritual. When the print slides out and the picture comes alive after a quick scan, that signed photo becomes the most personal keepsake of the night — the one nobody throws away.

HOW IT WORKS

Shoot, sign and take it home — about 30 seconds

Runs via QR code or the web version with no app download needed.

01

Step up & shoot

Guests step into frame and shoot — no limit on people per photo, whatever the lens can hold.

02

Sign on the screen

Sign directly on the screen right after the shot, in your choice of signature colour; one signer at a time.

03

Print & take it home

The signature merges into the photo and prints on the spot — about 30 seconds from shoot to finish, digital copy included.

04

Scan the QR for AR

Scan the QR code on the print to watch the photo come to life and download your personal digital copy.

WHY IT WORKS

Why the Scribble Booth is the most personal photo keepsake

About 30 seconds per guest

Shoot, sign and print in about 30 seconds — the line keeps moving even at full-house events.

Compact & easy to place

About 24cm W × 15cm D × 33cm H on an adjustable stand — fits reception areas and booth corners, light to set up and strike.

Pick your signature colour

Guests choose their signature colour on the spot, giving every signed photo its own personality.

AR photo double surprise

Beyond the physical print, a quick scan brings the photo to life in AR — with the digital copy downloaded to keep.

FINISHED CLIPS

What the output looks like: your signature floating on your own image

Three clips produced on the night, in a frame designed just for the Starry Night gala: the guest looks into the camera, signs in the air, and the stroke animation lands on their own image. No post-production.

Full signature stroke

20-second version with the most complete stroke; the frame carries the event’s pink dessert visual and the LangLive logo.

Strokes appear as you sign

Wherever the pen goes, the stroke appears — and the finished clip keeps that animation.

One clip per guest

Same frame, different person and signature — every clip is one of a kind.

ON SITE VIDEO

On site: from stepping up to the photo coming alive

Same guests, same night — the whole chain on camera: dual screens, stylus signing, and the photo moving on the phone after the QR scan.

How the booth works

Top screen shows the guest live, bottom screen takes the stylus signature, light bars on both sides — printed cards right beside it.

Signing close-up

The pink stylus lands on the signing area and the stroke shows up instantly on the guest’s own image above.

Scan the QR, the photo moves

A guest’s own screen recording: scan the QR on the card, point the camera at the physical card, and the photo just taken comes alive on the phone, sound included.

What the booth actually looks like running

Everything below is documentation from real events, not concept imagery. How the unit is placed, how guests sign, how the print comes out, and what happens when the code is scanned — explained shot by shot, as it behaves in a live queue.

The booth screen showing a finished piece — the photo with a handwritten signature over it and a QR code for collection

The signature is composited into the photo itself

This is the screen at the end of the experience: the guest's photo, the name they have just written, and a QR code for collection. The signature is not printed separately and stuck on — it is composited live into the photograph, so placement, size and slant are all the signer's own. No two come out alike. The code on the right is how the guest takes the digital file; the physical print comes out alongside.

A guest signing on the booth’s mirrored surface with a stylus, the screen above showing the image and stroke in sync

Watch yourself above, write your name below

The unit is two tiers: the upper screen shows the shot just taken, the lower mirrored panel is where you sign. As the pen moves, the stroke appears over the photo above — so guests can see where the signature will land while writing, with no blind writing and no test run. Ink colour is chosen on the spot.

Close-up of a guest’s hand holding a stylus on the signing surface

A stylus, not a fingertip

A stylus gives the stroke real weight and taper, so it reads as a signature rather than a smear — and it is far kinder to long nails and gel manicures. The pen hangs on the booth; guests pick it up and write without needing someone to walk them through it.

A photo printer producing a print with a custom frame and QR code, beside a board explaining the AR photo

The print comes out right there

The moment a signature is submitted, the photo prints on the unit beside the booth with a QR code in the corner. That board next to it is the instruction for guests: scan this, and the photo in your hand starts moving. In practice the board matters a great deal — without it most people take the print and walk, never discovering the AR layer exists.

A guest holding the printed photo card with its QR code clearly visible

The QR code on the card is the door into AR

Scanning the code with a phone camera opens the AR page; point the lens back at the physical card and the photo on it starts moving on screen, sound included. No app download, and the digital file saves straight to the phone. Guests typically print, scan and post right there — the fastest social spread of the event.

Close-up of a finished photo card showing a frame designed for that specific event

Custom event frames, a keepsake worth holding on to

The card frame is customised to the event’s key visual — palette, artwork, logo and event name all sit on it, and the same artwork carries onto the AR clip, so the card in hand and the moving version on the phone are one design. Themed frame options add fun to the event, and the card becomes the memory guests most want to keep.

A guest using the booth in a dimly lit room with a queue waiting behind

It still shoots cleanly in a dark room

Galas and ceremonies lit only by ambient colour are where photo services usually fall apart. The bar lights on either side exist for exactly that — the booth brings its own light, keeping faces properly lit instead of colour-cast. Behind her is the queue: a single guest goes from standing in frame to holding a card in about 30 seconds, so even in floor-length dress the line keeps moving.

Full view of the Scribble Booth on its wooden tripod in front of the experience backdrop

A small unit, under half a square metre

Booth plus adjustable wooden stand takes under half a square metre — it fits in the corner of a welcome area or at the edge of a booth. Stand height adjusts to the room and to whether guests are in heels. The wood finish means it reads as part of the set dressing rather than as equipment, which matters where the key visual is tightly art-directed.

A guest scanning the QR code on the booth screen, their handwritten signature still on the mirrored panel below

The digital copy is scanned, not registered

As the print comes out, a collection QR code appears on screen. Guests scan and take the file — no friend-add, no email capture, and therefore none of the step that loses half the room. Their signature is still sitting on the mirrored panel below.

Two guests using the booth with a crew member’s guidance, one holding the stylus

Two can sign the same photo

How many people fit in shot is set by the lens, but signing works best one at a time — so pairs usually go in together and take turns, ending with both names side by side on one photo. It is particularly popular at weddings and with couples.

All photographs document events we actually ran, and all appearances are consented. If you would like to see your own key visual applied, we can mock up a frame before you commit.

COMPARE

Scribble Booth vs signature / autograph booth vs standard photo booth

A search for "signature photo booth Singapore" turns up quite different set-ups. The key difference is where the signature ends up — inside the photo, or somewhere beside it.

In short: if the signature should be part of the photo — not a separate guestbook — and you want an AR print to go with it, book the Scribble Booth. A classic photo booth still suits high-volume photo strips.

They describe the same experience — a guest takes a photo, signs it, and takes the signed print home. Ours composites the signature into the photo itself and adds an AR layer through the QR code on the print.
