Newspaper Photo Booth · Event Newspaper

By the end of the night, your event has its own newspaper

Photos taken on the floor, laid out into a real newspaper the same day. Guests scan a QR code and upload; the system drops each photo into the page, and once a page fills, a full copy prints. The masthead carries your event name and today's date, and the inside is nothing but the people who showed up. Each copy comes in a clear sleeve with a paper bag — something a guest takes back to the office rather than leaves on a chair.

  • Laid out live, printed the same day — Guests upload by QR; the system places each photo. Nothing goes off to a printer overnight.
  • Masthead and layout follow your event — Event name, date, headline and palette are all customised, with two layouts to choose from.
  • A keepsake that goes back to the office — Broadsheet-sized, filled with the people who were there, sleeved and bagged for the way out.

Overview: who it's for & what it solves

The event newspaper is a live layout-and-print service: guests upload photos from their phones by QR code, the system places them into a pre-designed newspaper page, and complete copies print on the floor for guests to take away. Masthead, event name, date and headline are all customised, and each copy is sleeved and bagged. Suited to company D&Ds, product launches, family days and expo booths; a matching wedding edition is available. Islandwide with a custom quote.

WHAT IS IT

What is a newspaper photo booth?

It is a live layout-and-print service. Guests scan a QR code on the floor, upload the photo they have just taken, and the system places it into a newspaper page that was designed before the event. Once enough photos land, a full copy prints. The whole cycle finishes during the event — guests leave holding the result.

The page follows real newspaper logic: masthead, headline, date, and photo wells of varying size. The event name, date, strapline and palette are customised in advance; the photographs are what get filled in on the day. So every event prints a different paper, and none of it can be produced beforehand.

What separates it from a photo booth is that the artefact is collective. A booth gives each guest their own print; the newspaper puts everyone who came onto one page. For an organiser it makes "how many people were here and how good a time did they have" into something you can hold.

THE HEADLINE

Your event name on the masthead, your guests on every inch inside

People read the masthead first — the name of the event and the date — and only then start hunting for themselves in the photos. That order is the whole value of the format: it confirms whose night this was before it shows you your own face. A single photo strip cannot do that.

HOW IT WORKS

Four steps, all finished on the day

Guests only do the first one; the rest sits with the system and our on-site crew.

01

Scan and upload

Guests scan the QR code on the floor and upload the photo they just took. No app to download.

02

Laid out live

The system places each photo into your customised page; masthead, headline and date are already set.

03

Printed on site

Once a page fills, a full copy prints and our crew trims and bags it.

04

Taken home

Sleeved, bagged and collected before guests leave; digital files are available to download.

WHY IT WORKS

Four reasons it survives the journey home

Delivered on the day

Layout and printing both happen on the floor. The keepsake is in hand while the event is still warm, not posted out afterwards.

One keepsake holds the whole room

Rather than a print each, everyone who came shares a page — organisers often use it in place of a group photo.

Masthead to layout, all customised

Event name, date, headline and palette are customised ahead of time, with two layouts to pick from — a keepsake that carries your event home.

Big enough to get displayed

Far larger than a photo strip, so guests open it out, photograph it for social, and it ends up on an office wall.

Layouts, the finished copy, and how it is packaged

Photographs from events we ran — from masthead layouts to what is actually handed over — and the role the paper plays at an event.

The event newspaper zone — a wedding edition on the left, a corporate edition on the right

One system, two mastheads

These two are exactly what comes off the printer. On the left, the wedding edition with a “The DRAMA” masthead over Celebrating Love; on the right, the corporate edition carrying the event name and date across the top, with the strapline set alongside in red. The only difference is the layout and masthead configuration — the upload-and-place engine underneath is identical, which is why commissioning a new masthead does not mean rebuilding the workflow.

The display wall — instant prints, photo strips and the event newspaper, with lightboxes and cards on a shelf below

It takes up the most wall of anything there

The wall runs instant prints, photo strips, then the event newspaper. The size difference is right there: the first two zones are a mosaic of small prints, while the newspaper section fits two copies. That is its role at an event — not one print each, but the artefact that stands for the whole night. Being that large also makes it readable from a distance, which is why it works on the outer edge of a booth.

A full copy held up in a clear sleeve with a kraft paper bag handle at the top

It is handed over with its packaging

Nothing gets folded and passed across. The full copy goes into a clear sleeve with a kraft bag handle at the top, so it carries one-handed. It sounds like a small step but it decides whether the paper gets home — a large unbagged print is usually put down the moment a guest picks up a plate. The bag can carry event branding too.

The event newspaper scattered with custom-framed prints and photo strips

One set of photos, two kinds of output

The strips and framed prints around the paper come from the same guest uploads. Because there is a single entry point, one photo can land in the newspaper page and also print as that guest’s own take-home. Running both services together therefore does not split the queue — guests scan once.

How pricing works

Corporate events are quoted per project against date, venue, expected headcount, service hours and how much customisation the layout needs. A typical setup is one booth with about 150 minutes of unlimited printing, two layouts and on-site crew — share your date and headcount for a Singapore quote.

  • Date and venue (weekend, travel outside the city)
  • Expected headcount and service hours
  • Depth of layout customisation (masthead, headline, key visual)
  • Whether it runs alongside a photo booth or other services
WHY PIXANITY

Why work with us

  • Our own printing system — guests upload by scanning a QR code, and layout and printing run on one back end, not a stack of third-party tools
  • Over three thousand events a year, so the crew knows how queues and peaks actually behave
  • Our design team customises the masthead and layout to your key visual, so the keepsake carries the event home
  • Shares the same upload flow as the mobile booth, photo strips and magnetic lightboxes when run together
  • Islandwide, with on-site crew included
